Senior Executive Survey Results (Sr. VP to C-Level)

Our survey of 338 current and past Senior Executive customers found the following:

When asked, “Year-after-year, what are your three most pressing issues?”

2 to 1 above the next highest responses was:  "Surrounding myself with qualified people."

The next highest replies, in descending order, were:

  1. “The stress and pressure of delivering on expectations”
  2. “Emotional self-control; frustration, anger, fear, etc.”
  3. “Indecision”
  4. “Isolated”
  5. “Pressure to preserve what’s been built”
  6. “Overwhelmed”
  7. “Reacquire confidence lost after a couple of misses”
  8. “Respect of those who I manage”

Mid-Level Manager Survey Results (Manager, Director, and VP)

Our survey of 857 current and past Mid-level Manager customers found the following:

When asked, “Year-after-year, what are your three most pressing issues?”

The responses rank from the highest to the lowest:

  1. “Lack of appropriate/adequate recognition for above average performance”
  2. “Dealing with or being dependent on sub-par peers or subordinates”
  3. “Wasted time in ineffective or inefficient meetings”
  4. “Not enough time in the day to do my job like I want to”
  5. “Family demands, pressures, issues”
  6. “Emotional control; discouragment, doubt, defeat”
  7. “Overwhelmed; lack of being organized”
  8. “Overall pressures of the job”
