We use simple illustrations like this tree to explain the progressive path that behavior and performance take toward sustained, long-term change and transformation.

  • Group performance is the sum total of each of the individuals within the group.  Individual Performance & Productivity is the sum total of Habits.
  • To resolve company performance problems, what do we typically do?  We try to corral the collective group, attempting to motivate and persuade them to change.

    But that doesn’t work long-term because the problems and issues are the sum total of the group’s:

individual habits,

> which affect attitudes,

> which affect behaviors,

> which affect performance,

> which affects productivity.

  • So how do you harness, steer, and influence these minds with their collective habits for sustained, long-term results?
  • We address and modify individual habits over time, filtered through:
    • Principles – The individual chooses these.
    • Standards – The group/organization chooses these.
